just downloaded and installed the newest max version 5.1.1 and installed it on 2 windows xp computers, and it simply does not start - not in demo mode and not with a dongle. i get a waiting cursor for a few seconds, but that's it.

max runtime works fine though.

It's most likely a problem we are having with DEP on Windows currently.

It will be fixed for MaxMSP 5.1.2 which will be released very soon. In the meantime, to get going - please send an email into Ben at support at cycling 74 do com

Same problem here. It was working perfectly on Windows Vista and Windows Seven, but now:

- It doesn´t start on Seven
- On vista it says it crashed

Please verify that you are running MaxMSP 5.1.2
