I am working on a patcher that is using osc messages to control a synth that sits in a poly~ object.

The patch uses [zl.slice 1] to get the voice number parameter out of the messages, then I scale and modify the rest of the parameter message values. Finally,

at the end of processing this stuff, I put all the osc messages back together using [tosymbol], [join] and [zl lace]. I am trying to sequence a 'target' message to happen right before the voice-appropriate synth param osc-messages are sent to the out (which goes right to the [poly~], outside of this abstraction).

I need help figuring out what the problem is with what I am sending to the [poly~].

Somehow, even when the target message is followed by the voice number I want and then the osc lists, the only voice that prints anything is the 1st one.

I guess the bigger question is, if I want to get OSC into the individual voices of [poly~], am I supposed to interleave the target message into the streams of parameters?

Otherwise, perhaps the voice id should be in the voice patcher itself and I send the OSC to all of the voices?
