I used python numpy stddev to enclose 4 bar into one.

that i meticulously hacked from midi. resolution is in Ableton double and more than 480 ticks for purists.

Ok this may be not the ultimate tool for you production technique. But a good sketch for new ideas to form i hope the techno of future (or the past)

It is also an attempt to find more cooler stuffs of what's your definition of groove ;) I think there are plenty way to express how groove can distort rhythm.

And i'm about to plan to improve it with a [compress, dilate] function. I think it will be super fun for warped super funk rhythm technics à la 808.

Any collaboration, is super welcome. Statistics, interpolation, cycling trough series.

How and is there some seq~ maven around here i'v played a bit around it and i think that it will help me in my lab.

Not to mention the human aspect that is super important that form definition of groove.
