i just tried to record video non real - time with the Framedump messate to the jit.qt.record object in the tutorial 19. However on my two computers it didn't work properly. the original movie (Countdown) runs 2 -3 times before the done message triggers stop on jit.qt.record. the generated movie runs at least twice as fast as the original, which probably shouldnt be the case when only frame after frame is processed.

Is this problem known? Is there another way to do it than in the tutorial?

First of all what platform and version of the software are you using?

A bug like the multiple times through the framedump message was fixed 

at some point in the 1.5.X releases. And the faster than original 

framerate is to be expected if you do not open jit.qt.record with the 

same framerate as the input movie. There is otherwise no 

communication between jit.qt.movie and jit.qt.record, so it is up to 

you to communicate whatever information you want from one to the

I had to turn off the loop mode which was activated automatically when loading the 19jRecording Tutorial. then it worked. The framerate etc. should have been ok when testing it first, because the patch gets the framerate of the original movie and inserts it in the jit.qtrecord object and the write message.
