Hi, calls to create a 2d text object always fail:

        m_p_text = jit_object_new( gensym( "jit_gl_text2d" ), NULL, 0, NULL );

        dummy = (t_object *)newinstance( gensym( "jit.gl.text2d" ), 0, 0 );

at startup. This process works fine for other objects and even for jit.gl.text3d, just not jit.gl.text2d

		m_p_text = jit_object_new( gensym( "jit_gl_text2d" ), NULL, 0, NULL );

i believe gl.text2d was never supported in 64 bit Max 6.

ah, maybe my tests in Max are 32-bit (I find it hard to get the Dock on OSX to launch 64-bit) - that might explain the difference - will check that out, thx Rob

Yeah, that was it - i do vaguely remember the text2d on 64-bit thing now you've mentioned it...
