Looking for an iphone app to controll max. There are alot of osc apps out there. Are they all relying on wi-fi or are there also some possibilities with bluetooth. Any recommandations?

Google 'diablu' I think they are doing OSC bluetooth stuff, but not exactly sure what. Out of interest what's the aversion to Wifi?

Might be a rehearsalroom or a concertplace without wifi or any net. Even in 2011 ... : )

You may already know, but you don't need an ISP. You can set up an ad-hoc network from your computer and join it with your iPhone if you have wifi capability or a wifi dongle or a cheap router and you're going to get a much better range and be able to go through walls etc. Are there many computers with bluetooth capability, but not wifi? I suppose a bluetooth dongle is £5 versus £15 for a wifi one.

Yeah, don't even need the airport express. Just click on the airport symbol on your Macbook and select 'create network', you can give it a name and then join it from your ipod touch and voila!

I use TouchOSC because it plays well with a real network, Fantastick has some great features but in my experience only works properly with ad-hoc networking.

With iOS 4.3, the iPhone can also create a hotspot, pretty awesome :)
