Having withheld a seemingly random selection of the board's posts for the
last 4 days, the mailing list suddenly barfed up 200-odd 'mails to me this
evening - is it just me ?

According to our logs, the SMTP server servicing your account asked for

a delivery deferment 7885 times between October 28 and today. It did not
