I try to test a path of folder inside max patch. My problem is to identify mac os or windows system. So I search to test if system is mac , or system is pc between object tosymbol @separator / and sprintf /%s/ %s if macintosh and sprintf %s/ %s if Windows. Just a see patcher

maybe i misunderstand you. are you just trying to see if it windows or mac?

also use 'path' to [thispatcher] and the equivelent "max runtime" query.

other stuff (like patcher / project, app, etc) a bit of a nightmare these days
