Hi there, so I'm mucking around with playbar, but the right outlet seems to do nothing. Can anyone verify that the right outlet actually gives any output?

Maybe it's something simple, but I cannot cause it output anything at all.

My overarching intention is to control the position of five video streams with a single playbar, and I hope to do this using the QT messages that allegedly come out of the right outlet... but hooking it up to print and nothing comes out, which seems contrary to the spec. I've tried tinkering. Is it just me? I couldn't find much info or threads about using the right outlet (just a few broken links). Maybe I'm doing it wrong, but it's not working the way I expect and feel like I've hit a barrier with no clues.

Here is a simple patch where I experience no output. Any help greatly appreciated!

what info are you anticipating at this outlet. Hovering over it reveals "Command numbers" coming out here; whatever they are?

IIRC While trying to incorporate playbar on a project a while back I arrived at the same conclusion: It just doesn't work. The frustrating thing was (and still is) that playbar can not control more than one file at a time via the left outlet...

I'm anticipating Command Numbers, which are part of the Quick Time API or something.

But yeah, just get nothing at all out of it

Shame, it's for an end user with not much computer experience, would have been good to have a familiar looking transport bar.
