I've been working on a poly~ based instrument. I'm making some progress with it, but there seems to be a bug that's slowing my workflow down considerably. After editing the poly~ patch the whole device either loses it's ui nob settings (as if the device was reset and loadbang wasn't sent out) or it becomes completely unresponsive. To fix it I have to start a new device in a new channel or I'll have to restart Live altogether. This is quite disturbing because I don't always know if it's not working because of something I did or if it's because of this issue. This is slowing me down a lot. Anyone know of a workaround?

i would simply try to avoid editing while it is opened and running.

not sure how easy it is to avoid that in m4l ..

I was running it with the record button on and the track enabled. I'll try shutting those off and see what that does. Thx.
