polyrhythems and arpaggios

Hi all!

just starting to try and figure this stuff out, im totally clueless.

trying to create an arpeggiator with "tempo" but when i play with the "division of whole note"
the change only starts when it finishes its cycle. unlike the ableton arpeggiator, it is not instant.
for example: if the note repeats 1/1 (bar) and i switch it in the middle of the bar to a 1/6, it will only change to the new value
when it finished counting the 1/1.

is there a way to make have it effect it instantly?
or should i use "metro" or something else instead?

thank youuuuu!!!!!

Here’s something that might help. Use tempo to generate small intervals and then use [% ] of some larger value n, you can make a trigger occur every nth time there is an output from tempo.

This patch needs modification to if you want long durations to trigger immediately (e.g. 1/1 will not trigger till the start of the next bar line).
