presentation mode doubt
i have some subpatches and i want add some controls of the subpatches in the presentation mode. if i go to presentation mode from the main patch i only see the controls of the main patch and no that ones from the subpatches. i see only the controls of the subpatches if i go to presentation mode from the subpatches, but then i dont see the controls of the main patch… :-?
i miss something?
Um… you’ve set your subpatch to
open in Presentation mode using the
patcher Inspector, right? And you’ve
set your main patch to open in Presentation
Mode? Works fine for me.
Of course, since you’ve not said anything
about the platform, the OS version, or
the version of Max you’re using, we’re
playing 20 questions, aren’t we?
i use win xp and max 5.0.5
the think is,,i create a new patch, add some boxes to presentation mode. inside of this patch (the main one) i create a subpatch [p whatever] inside of this subpatch i add some boxes to presentation mode. i close the subpatch and when i go to presentation mode (from the main one) i dont see the boxes marked to see in presentation mode of the subpatch, i just see the boxes of the main patch.
i hope be more clear now… my english sometimes is hard.. :-)
maybe this will help:

thanks rob, but i think my english isnt clear…
what i need is see boxes of a subpatch (added to presention mode) when i go to presentation mode from the main patch.
Use a bpatcher instead of a subpatch, and have the bpatcher’s patch load in presentation mode.

Other people have asked for that behavior, but It just doesn’t work
Things marked to be in the presentation layer are visible in
presentation mode for that patch. To view another patcher’s
presentation mode objects, it needs to be added as a bpatcher (and set
to open in presentation mode).
this works,, thanks guys!
