I've been having trouble with a device i'm creating - it's quite a (over)-complicated patch so i don't expect anyone to try and unpick my seat-of-my pants mess of coding (unless they want to :)) - but maybe someone can recognise something general about my problem.

It's a grain cloud generator based on the granular example in msp tutorial (which uses poly~ based grains with rand objects). The interface uses several multisliders in bpatchers - dragging the list calculates a random list according to a random strength list (shown by holding ALT). These lists are then dumped in a coll and used as an envelope for the grain cloud generator. It all works as expected when running in max, even as amxd, but when i use it in live something goes wrong: at first i can drag the lists and they calculate as normal, but once i've triggered it the first time, the lists don't update until minutes later.

Does anyone recognise anything general there that gives issues in Live - i was thinking it might be to do with the coll (although that's downstream of the sliders) (more than likely it's a result of my messy coding generally (i do tidy it up, but it's still conceptually messy :)). If you've got spare time any general tips about the patch would be appreciated too :) (if you do you may have to tweak a few parameters to hear it properly)

In Live all parameter changes are written to the undo history (unless the visibility attribute is set to 'hidden').

Depending on the frequency of changes this may cause a performance problem.
