Anyone getting problems with Soundflower and Ableton Live?

I have a mackbook 2.1 Core 2 duo with OS X 10.5.8 with 4GB of ram. I am running Ableton Live 7.0.18 and have no routing problems i.e. assigning my internal mic to the audio input in live, for example.

As soon as I install Soundflower the problems start. I can no longer route any device to my audio input in Live. Traktor Pro is fine (I am also trying to route traktor to ableton) there are no issues until I get to Ableton Live, thats when the problems start. Its as if as soon as Live detects soundflower it decides to freeze when I try any sort of audio routing with in live.
