I'm using Polybuffer~ to send audio data to 8 separate buffer~'s in my patch. Everything works fine the first time I send audio into the 8 separate buffers. The problem is when I clear the buffer~'s, I am no longer able to send audio data from polybuffer to the 8 separate buffers. Oddly enough, buffer.1 will receive audio, but buffers.2 through buffer.8 will not accept audio when I try to send it an audio file from polybuffer.

I am using the message (clear) to clear polybuffer, as well as the message (send 0 clear) to clear the data from all 8 buffers in my patch. Any thoughts?

How are you sending audio from polybuffer~ to buffer~? I wasn't aware that could be done!

I found that the solution is not to use folders at all in max! It only loads the first file and then ignores everything else in the folder. Dragging and dropping multiple files is the best method.

It's super easy to send audio from polybuffer to a buffer! Just name the buffer~ the same as your polybuffer~ plus you need to add a .1 or .2 depending on which audio file your are referencing. So if you name your polybuffer~ [example], you can name your buffer~ [example.1] and it will synch the two together. you can do this with multiple buffers by naming then [example.2], [example.3] etc to load the 2nd and 3rd audio file in your polybuffer object. Check out the polybuffer help file which probably explains it better
