im making a patch for playing drum loops that i want to perform edits on in realtime, but after performing the edits the playback position to resume. i have various ideas but can get a smooth transition back.

this mainly uses a metro to retrigger the loop every bar, and a second metro to perform retriggers of various points within the loop using midi C1 to G1 by dividing the length of the loop in ms by 8, then using the midi keys to multiply that but 8 to jump to various points.
