I have two performance patches that use jit.window objects and are displayed through a projector while I keep my main monitor for controlling the patches.

During a live performance I need to close one patch then open the other. They are both cpu/gpu intensive and cannot be running at the same time.

What I'm trying to solve is that during the performance I want to go seamlessly from one patch to the other without the audience seeing a switch in the projected image. Any ideas as to the best way to achieve this?

you should only use one jit.window for all patches.

if your patch is jit.matrix based, then simply send the final matrix of each patch to the jit.window when that patch is enabled. if your patch is GL based, then jit.gl.node is your friend.

The solution I came up with was to create a third patch that only has the jit.window object - and then use send on the other patches.
