I haven't been able to find any solution to the totally random error when using the object sfrecord~.

after getting the error: sfrecord~ could not finish writing header for -', e r- ; the file is unusable.

I'm runing Max7 on a MacMini OS:El Capitan with a motu ultralite mk3

Any help with any ideas regarding this will be greatly appreciated.

sfrecord~ works great here, could you please post a patch? 

in the past I had issues with sending 1 before "open" and also my hard drive being full

Not sure if relaIted.... but here Max always freezes when recording multichannel wav and the filesize exceeds about 2 Gb.
