The Godel 2 arpeggiator is now in beta. It includes a standard 2-oscillator FM subtractive synthesis engine, built entirely in gen~, with Yofiel's standard additional features such as UI monitors, multiple tracking modes, modulation matrix, and effects. The Godel arpeggiator plays notes in the same order played, with optional chords added at variable intervals. The polyphonic arpeggiation sequence is saved with the preset.

I was hoping to be able to use this arpeggiator in my own project, but I can see that

1) It's kind of woven in with the synth, and

2) There's very little in the form of comments and such in the patch and its subpatches.

If anything could be done towards making it more accessible for hacking, I'd be mighty interested. It looks like it's powered mainly by [zl lookups] which would be easily integrated into our timing system.

As it says, I will be adding documentation on the user manual, and I have already written quite a bit on the internal methodology internally, but this is the first complete design, as this picture shows. So I hope you enjoy hacking in your own projects otherwise )

It's a great build. Lots of cool visual stuff, too, like the voice counter thing. Looks really neat.

Well thank you. On reflection, the absence of wires at the top level may make this confusing. It is because it passes messages directly into gen~ from pattrstorage. in fact it is the main design innovation, so I wrote that up first.

The user guide documentation is complete on the website. It does refer to Live! support, which will be available in beta two, hopefully in a couple of days.

* All controls are now parameters in live!, with defaults

* New .amxd shell opens Godel2 maxpat (via bpatcher object) in live (to be documented).

* Curve knobs in tracking windows are now bipolar, and tracking subpatches are improved.

* Bugfix: when pitch remapping is on, changing keyboard transposition also changed the key. New control now allows setting of key without changing transposition.

* Bugfix: some logic for mono and MIDI controller signals, as modulation matrix sources, was missing.

Annotations for all controls, as well as Live '.mxf' and Windows Collections, are in process.

Please let me know if you find any other bugs, or if you need additional documentation.
