got sometime this kind of shitty sound while recording with record or sfrecord on Max.

Sometimes it's good, sometime it's worth. Sometime it append after one or tow minutes of good recording, sometime from the beginning...

Doesn't have enough time to check if it appens with other recording software but it was ok during a big day on Protools (with a another audio card)

MacBook Pro 2,2 core i7 4Gb Ram, Mac OS 10.7.5, MAX 5.1.7, M-Audio FW410 locked on a 48000 Hz external synchro (two différente synchro devices was tested)

how about when you let the m-audio run on its internal clock?

Think I've tried one of these days of rehearsal and get the problem too.

I don't own any of these devices, so, anyway I will have to run with internal sync at home to continue testing.

I was told Max can have somme problem running under a clock at 48000Hz, specialy while using the Spat or Ambisonic tools (which I do),
