I'm brewing on a patch which uses a skypein incoming call as a bang trigger for video playback. Any ideas on how to get the best comunication going between skypein and max?

If you're on a Mac, you can tell Skype to do things (and request info from Skype, I think) using Applescript, which you can use with the [shell] (free) or [tap.applescript] (paid). I'm not sure if you can get the information you need like that, but it might be worth a go.

If you can make use of it, you can get audio from Skype using Soundflower. I've not really tried to get video from it before, but I suppose you could use [jit.desktop] or maybe Syphon (not sure on that one).

I don't need any audio or video from skype, just the end call and answer call commands. So one of these
