I’m not sure the extern Topher coded is still online, but I have a copy
if you need it.
Centre de Recherches et de Formation Musicales de Wallonie asbl
For unknown reasons, Topher’s code never worked on my machine… So you
may use my DOSHack external.
You can ask it pretty much things. Just notice that if you want to run
.exe files, there’s still a window focus bug i haven’t find the time to

Thank you Wesley,
I thought to it. Unfortunately Java is not installed by default on
Windows. Create problems for sharing my patches.
But fortunately almost alny user of max/msp/jitter will have java
installed because of the mxj support. What is the standard windows
shell anyway? Dos prompt?
I don’t know.
Something that would be able to tell MyApp what is the system which is
runnig on, what is the amount of RAM, what is the name of the ethernet
card, and so on.
I’m mainly a Mac’ user, and not an expert.
