I'm using this.patcher.front() to bring message windows (HUD) to the forefront. Trouble is, even after sending them back, Max is still the active aplication (thus requiring the user to refocus Live for navigation/key commands to work within it).

Possibilities: forwarding key commands from m4l to Live (but I don't think this is possible)

[shell] external with a command to switch applications (this seems slightly dangerous).

Also, I can't seem to find a copy of the [shell] external. Is there a current version that works with Max5?
