I have a problem of freezing system when I import a .jpeg

When the file arrived in the folder, all max's patch freezing during few seconds, movie freeze, render freeze...

I import jpeg's which are 2592 1728 resolution, I divide this resolution to be displayed in 1296 864.

I am using a patch taken from the forum...

What I can do in order to don't have this freeze?

Do you know an other way to watch a folder and autodisplay an arrived image?
