Maybe I'm an idiot but I can't make a patch out of pasting text the way it tells you in the tutorial.

I copy the text, I open a new patcher in max, and then they tell you to just paste it in. Well, I can't paste it. The paste "button" in the menu isn't even active.

I'm using max/msp 4.3.1 on OSX v10.3.9. There was one thread about this same problem but the way they fixed it doesn't work for me. I think they were on a PC and there was an option "paste from clipboard" which I don't have on my mac.

Yeah but he should be able to just paste it in with control+V.
