thispoly~ issue or have I gone crazy?

I can’t retrieve the instance number from a thispoly~ object – see attached example. Don’t bother with the silliness of the patch, just check out the number box inside sinesynth

can you reproduce the problem? is it just me needing a holiday? ;)

ok, so it looks like if I connect [receive] directly to [thispoly~] the problem is solved.

I’d say this really looks like a bug…

actually, I don’t think it’s a bug. if you look at your sinesynth abstraction there is a bug on your part in it… move the loadbang object over a couple of pixels and you will see what I mean ;)

was a pure fluke that I caught it. I was really puzzled when I opened an instance of the poly~ and the loadbang to the thispoly~ didn’t give me a number, even after I clicked it manually…
In any case, enjoy your holiday ;)
