I'm working on a patch to produce risset rhythms. This involves ramping the tempo of one sequencer from x to 2x. A second sequencer would then ramp from 2x to 4x, a third from 4x to 8x and so on...

This means in theory all 'components' should be in sync with one another. I have tested this in a DAW and it worked out with no issues.

However when developing the patch in MAX, the components won't stay in time. I have tried several different methods to achieve the desired outcome but all result in a sync failure after less than a few seconds. I have boiled it down to MAX not liking the tempo doubling.

Below I have made a simple patch to demonstrate the issue I'm having. As you will hear, a few moments after the trigger is clicked, the components go out of sync. If anyone can help me with this problem I'd very much appreciate it.
