understanding suckah output

Jul 06 2013 | 6:27 pm

hi there,

paying with tracking some video and want to read the output of argh value of the part of video i want to track.

trying to use suckah, but can’t seem to get floating values to output properly.
I seem to just get the same three numbers 0.004 outputting no matter where I click.

Any ideas why and how to fix greatly appreciated

check this thread:

also, I think it should be a $f1 instead of a $i1 in your vexpr object…

thanks for that, great.

i’m also trying to read the placement of any red (or any colour actually) the camera picks up, and outputting all those positions – just like the tracking, but able to track multiple positions – i.e if theres a blob of red top left, middle of screen, and bottom right I would get separate readings of the x-y value of each of those points.

Like using jitspill – but able to get the x & y values of each plane in a way that I can place it onto a table, or something similar to generate tones or control a filter on a noise generator etc…

the concept is to have a bunch of red balloons, or cards in a space. These control the sound by producing tones, or manipulating the filter etc…

any ideas/direction/help greatly appreciated
