universal problem?

Oct 01 2013 | 4:32 pm

hi

In max 5.1 the max window does not display any error with universal.

But in max 6 32bit if you go into the (universal) help file

(send int bang) > (universal)

max 6 gives an orange message in the max window

"int:extra arguments for message "bang" "

or
(send int 1) > (universal)

max 6 gives an orange message in the max window

"int:extra arguments for message "int" "

does this happen on both mac and windows?

Is there a way to stop this from happening? As i have allot of these errors occurring.

thanks.

thank you for trying it out.

It happens in windows xp b4 bit using 32bit max 6.

But there are no errors in max 5.1 in the same windows xp 64bit.

Also speedlim is not functioning correctly in max 6 32bit (windows)

This ([universal] messages) also happens for me on windows 8, 32bit max.
