I was wondering if anyone knows if there will be an upgrade path from Max 4 Live to a full version of Max 5. I know Max users can buy M4L but i have not heard anything about the other way around. It would be really nice if M4L users could get some sort of discount.

I would also like to know if this is likely to be made available in the future.

I have the same wish. I started to be more an more interested in Max/Msp by working on Max4Live this last week.

There should be a complete bundle with clearly defined upgrade paths.

We're still sorting out the exact details, but the deal is going to be that total cost of buying MaxMSP or MaxMSP Jitter plus MFL will be the same no matter which order you do it in. We hope to have specifics on how it will all work soon. If you are considering a purchase, are waiting for us to get our act together and your demo has run out, please feel free to write support with your Authorization challenge string and we can extend your demo for you.

Come on guys... price your bundles already.... why wouldn't you want to encourage M4Lers to extend to MAX/MSP/Jitter. It's all good for the ecosystem you are trying to establish..
