Quite new to Max7...so be easy with me, my object skills are fragile!

Anyway, have created a project with 10 or so patches embedded.

The Main Project makes use of various wav, jpeg and png files. It uses various jitter stuff, along with vanilla max objects & MSP.

Wanted to create a standalone so I can share on Mac/Win platforms with non Max users.

Created a standalone object and checked various stuff in the Inspector prior to standalone generation.

After creating the standalone app, embedded an additional file to include all my media files; placed it with the resources folder.

On one Macbook, it loads everything and runs fine; if I transfer it to another MacBook Pro, it only decides to load the sound files and non of the image files will show? Videos play fine.

If I load it on Win7, works fine, but no videos, all image files are great, apart from a couple with re sizing issues.

All images display at correct proportions on the Mac.

So Q1: Why is there an inconsistency across the Macs and pc for different media types ?

Q2: The Apps are currently around 460Mb each, which is pretty heavy. I read on some earlier forum entries about removing certain library elements, but before I do that, I want all my media to load and play first.

Is there a unique location of where to place your own media after generating the standalone.

What are the best settings in the Inspector for standalones?

I have not attached the project app as it is huge!
