I was wondering if GEm is actually compatible with the windows version of MAx/MSP 4.5.5 ?
I’ve downloaded from the official GEM for MAX site and followed the instructions but I don’t have the externals folder mentioned in the readme.
I can see the list of GEM objects in the new object list but the help files and objects themselves are not defined even when I add the directories from the file preferences menu.
Also if GEM is not compatible is there another extension which is and would allow me to manipulate sound from a 3D object?
any help would be greatly appreciated
[Bump] – sorry have coursework based on this in a week it’d be really helpful if someone could enlighten me.
As far as I know, GEM for max is for mac only…
