I've been slaving Max to Cubase via rewire and trying to figure out the best way to sample a signal on beat so that I can output MIDI notes if it is above 0.0. Snapshot~ seems to be the way to do this but I'm having difficulty getting snapshot~ to trigger in time with the Cubase transport.

1)I'm setting the global transport to rewire

2)I send in a max timeformat value to snapshot~ say like 4n.

And it does snapshot every 4n but the phase is all wrong compared to Cubase's transport. It won't sample on the downbeat for instance. Attached is an illustrative patch. I'd love to know what i'm doing wrong here. :)
