I'm looking for a way to use a surround plugin (VST or AudioUnit) within a patch. The problem with the plugin (Altiverb) is that it wants to see multiple channels to configure its I/O. So in a 'normal' DAW it knows how many inputs and outputs the channel has on which it is inserted. If I use the VST~ object and configure 6 inputs and 6 outputs (5.1) it still comes up as a stereo plug-in.
