Very important and urgent question- please help me guys. Several speakers to one

November 14, 2010 | 2:46 pm

if you could help me with solving this problem I would be saved…

The thing is – I have to connect several speakers to one computer through one mini jack input, without using any external sound card or anything like that. The sounds should be different for every speaker and I would like to control it through max.

if your mini jack only has two output (stereo) then you can only have two speaker playing different sounds.

unless your good at electronics then you could put some relays on the speaker wire and flip between different speaker on the same channel.

however i would think that a new sound card with more channel would be better

it is possible if each loudspeaker has a different frequency field.
so you can control the multi channel sound by filtering.

I did this together with a friend for an installation.
and we often forgot that we have only two channels – because it worked so well.

good luck,
