ubumenu state in pattr

    Hi list,
I want to recall the state of a ubumenu with pattrhub. How can I make a
difference between recalling the index (left outlet) and getting the
content (middle outlet)? On some menus in my patch the index is stored,
    on others the contetnt.
    thanks

I'm interested to know too! I never understood how this works, it
doesn't seem to be very consistant.

you know, that you can send "pattrmode 0" or "pattrmode 1" to ubumenu?

Yep. But what I don't understand is that I have different behavior with
different [ubumenu] in the same patch, all with pattrmode's default
setting (i.e., no value sent with pattrmode). I even had the mode of a
ubumenu changed during the development time, with some presets having
the index saved, and other the content...
I suppose I should simply set a mode.
