umenu n° of items

    how can i get the number of items of a umenu? thx

      In Max4, I'm not sure there is a method to get this information. But as your patch is filling the [umenu], it could count itself how many items it puts in the menu.
      Note that [ubumenu] understands the count message, but you may prefer the rounded corders of [umenu] over the square corners of [ubumenu].

      There is a count message for [umenu] in max5 ;)
      You can click on an object inlet to see what attributes/messages this object can receive (alt-right click the object on max4?). Very usefull.
