I need to send OSC Data from every channelstrip of an Ableton session to another program. Actually i can use the same Max patch for all channels, with the only difference that i have to add the name of the channell strip in front of my OSC message. For sure, there is a smart way for max to recognize the name of the Channelstrip its lying on, right?

Asking for the name ("get name") after getting to path "this_device canonical_parent" should give you the channel name.
