Video with Max/MSP and Jitter

I am trying to feed video into the Cycling 74 applications.
Could anyone suggest a simple patch that allows viewing of connected video feeds? I want to use a video camera rather than a web cam, is this possible within Jitter?
Does anyone know the name of the video patch that allows you to track colours?
    Thanks,

Yes. Please take the time to read the tutorials provided with Jitter,
and your questions will be answered. The jit.qt.grab (macintosh) and
jit.dx.grab (windows) objects expose this functionality. Please take
the time to review their help patches and object references.

The jit.findbounds object provides simple color tracking, and there
is a tutorial provided with Jitter. For more advanced techniques, I
would suggest taking a look at Cyclops, cv.jit, and SoftVNS. If on
windows, I would also suggest looking at EyesWeb, which can
communicate with MaxMSPJitter via MIDI or OSC.
      Cyclops:
      cv.jit:
      SoftVNS:
      EyesWeb:
in the future, please use the Jitter forum for Jitter related
questions. The web version is also searchable. I would also suggest
using these searchable archives as a point of reference prior to
      posting questions to the list.
