vst~ trouble

vst~ is giving me trouble. I have a subpatch with 6 vst~ plugins.
After loading a Pluggo software synth like "additive heaven" and
sending midievent messages to it, the object complains that the
"effect doesn't want events," although "get -7" will output 1
(confirming that the plug-in IS a synth). This happens on both Mac OS
X (PPC and Intel) as well as Windows XP.
I'm enclosing a patch demonstrating the problem.

      Hi Georg,
In the vst object box, just change [vst~] to [vst~ none] if you don't
have a default plug-in, such [vst~ "additive heaven"].

      Hello Philippe,
Still getting the same messages after loading "additive heaven". The
problem must be deeper, and it disappears after deleting the other
five vst~ instances (just keeping plugin 5).
      Best,
      Georg

      hi
i did not follow the thread, but just trying [vst~ "additive heaven"]
(with quotes) and sending it a [midievent 144 60 120] sure works
      that's on OSX PPC

sorry for my short previous answer - i just tried your patch and it
works here - it plays on channel 5, no problem (i don't have the
my-change object, but it does not change much in this case - the
plug-in additive heaven receives and understands the midievent message

This is clearly a case of voodoo. After rebuilding the patch with the
exact same component, it started working. Yet, the two source codes
show a different order. If life were always that easy.
