I really want to make some more CPU friendly and simple waveshaper with 3 or 4 waveshaping schemes often used in filters (like sine, soft, hard).

At this moment i made a basic waveshaper with [buffer~] and [lookup~]

I understand that it is possible to morph my waveshaper forms like here

But in my situation i will have only 2 active presets at the same time and 0 amount will always be my linear waveshape.

It is cool but maybe there is some more simple and less CPU hungry algorithms to interpolate between presets of waveshaper (change amount of waveshape), or maybe other methods of waveshaping?
