Wifi webcams

Hello

I've searched around the forums and the web and while I've found quite a few discussions outside using more specialised cameras I've not found much on the cheaper ones that usually come with an IOS/Android app. I bought one from Amazon and while it works fine with the app I've had no luck with creating a RTPS feed outside of the Smart PSS application.

Is this a non-starter? I'm a bit amazed as this seems it could be such a neat way of creating motion tracking and interactive audio triggering with multiple cameras.

Suggestions are super welcome even if it's a confirmation that the more expensive cameras is the option to go with.
