MIRAnome64 is the basic monome64 for MIRA iPad application. Basically, it is a proof of concept but a fully fonctional monome64 protocol implementation in Max6 / MIRA for your iPad. Small story MIRA is a very interesting and new Max6 integration of a framework providing ability to instantly with zero configuration mirroring your patch into iPAD. A lot of systems already exist for controlling Max6, and other softwares using iPad but each one requires even a bit of configuration or even hardcore one and this particular point can be frightening for non-programmer users. MIRA's zero configuration provides a way in which the whole configuration is stored on the computer side and those who read my interview and this ebook knows I totally agree with this way as the modern and futuristic one. You can find some very early Max for Live implementation of MIRA here monome is one of the most minimalistic, beautiful & smart way of interface I really like. Brian Crabtree + Kelli Cain designed very minimal hardware with a button matrix + a led matrix. No coupling between button & led is made inside the box, you can couple this on the computer side.
I developed this project together with Swedish-Canadian choreographer Mireille Leblanc as our latest production under the name The 7th Sense.
ICARE IN SITU is an adaptation of the myth of Icarus from Ovid's Metamorphoses. It's a multimedia sculptural transcription of this myth, by Thomas Sillard. The Icarus story as an allegory of the various struggles that we must take to survive.
A rework of a Max for Live TB303 with added phasor and an extra waveform.
My personal emulation of the famous Roland tb 303 totally built using MAX. I added some simple effects like reverb (using the tool nw.gverb~), tape delay and a bit crusher for a chance to work more on the waveforms and to make the best performance.
WHITEBOX Pixiphone, an ambient instrument that models a child's toy then enlarges it with spectral delay, reverb, brightness, hit strength, attack and decay.
Mac ONLY! Drag any sample onto the player to use this plug-in.
All in one, is a project for investigating how powerfully can be M4L with implementation of all multiple possibilities.
FEATURES - 3 fx stages based on step sequencing * frequency modulator modulating the input with a raw and gloomy carrier * crusher crushing bit depth resolution + sample rate of the input * dirty delay delaying and modulating the feedback on very uncanny manners - independant step sequencers for audio-channels L/R - global bypass switch - global dry/wet - master shaper envelope based with retriggering rate The signal pass thru several internal modules, successively: - frequency modulator - crusher - dirty delay Each module are based on a step sequencer, except the step shaper. Each module can have its own step number.
An ambient synth with 8 pad tones plus Reverb, Attack, Release, Cutoff and Spectral Delay. A surprisingly deep variation of sounds available with a few controls. Now part of $4 Max Pack.
Designed for the musician who is either in a hurry, bored with tweaking parameters and/or extremely lazy. It takes the decision-making out of sound selection.
Rethinking home audio and understanding how and where people share music was the jumping point for creating Skube.
this is an ongoing series, consisting of hour long [1hr 20mins with 002 onwards] compositions directed to electronics, ambient, improvisation and good ol' music fans.
I go to Berklee College of Music and major in Electronic Production and Design.
M4L Bulbs Pack is max4live pack of five plugins that work inside Ableton Live.
This is a real-time sequencer machine for Ableton Live / Max for Live. IT is really dedicated to the design of unique sequences for idm, braindance music & polyrhythmic.
The next iteration of MIDI Merlin, version 2.0, is currently in beta testing phase.
