PROPOSAL FOR AN ADDITIONAL WEAPON TO FIGHT AND ELEMINATE THE CREWS OF HOSTILE AIRPLANES AND GROUND TROOPS IN THE DEFENSIVE VIA X-RAY- AND ELECTRON RADIATION
A strange letter sent in 1943 by a certain Prof. Dr. Ernst Schiebold to Air Inspector General Erhard Milch became the starting point for a top secret NS-research project on a tubular x-ray cannon. The permanent installed media installation developed by Tobias Rosenberger brings Schiebolds original proposal back into the concrete bunker space, which once hosted his failed weapon development project: As a literal proposal, narrated with present-day media technology.

How did this project use Max?
A laptop running Max chooses voice samples following simple probability patterns and creates a constantly transforming sound atmosphere for 5 Audio Channels. Movements and Scales of 2 jit.gl.gridshapes are synchronized to audio events and get displayed via two video-projectors. Max also controls led-stripes via a DMX-Interface and small Fischertechnik-motors via Arduino.
