The Music and Sound Design Platform
Music_SDP is a Digital Audio Performance Environment; a system designed around the creation and manipulation of audio in a real-time, replacing the two-dimensional sequencer of the standard Digital Audio Workstation with a non-linear, performance-focused work environment.
Music_SDP is a modular, expandable system that can be used to create and play with audio, to explore musical ideas, to produce works of music for live performance, and to create and record entire electronic compositions.
Music_SDP is an open-source, free, cross-platform music creation environment. It exists as a standalone application for OSX and Windows, and the source-code is available as a separate download.

- Feb 24 2016 | 1:39 pmTo anyone who's looking at this project, I want to let it be known that I'm trying to make this a community-driven tool! I've developed a module template that should make it easy (easier anyway) for people to expand the functionality of the system on their own, and I'm looking to get anyone involved who may be interested in adding to the software. The template is included in the code and has a small explanation about how to get your tools to work in the system. If you have any tips on how I can more accurately stick to that opensource ethos, please feel free to share! And if you'd like to contribute let me know!
