Live automation is used to control morphing over time, so that melodic fragments can be shaped into larger sections of music.

Coord uses Max for Live to access complete note patterns within Ableton Live, whereas most MIDI plugins only access notes as they pass the playback head.

OSC is used with Max to feed note data to Coord, and to stream Coord's generated output back to Live tracks.
