FAQ: Errors During Max 6 Installation

    Problem: Max 6 (or older) is not starting or not able to be installed, and you are seeing errors like 'Extensions are not installed', or 'the installation has failed'.

    Solution: Make sure you have updated to the latest version of the iLok License Manger. This applies to both hard drive-based authorizations and iLok authorizations.

    1. Go to the Pace Support Page.
    2. Download the relevant installer.
    3. Install the iLok License Manager.
    4. Reboot your machine.
    5. Restart Max. If this does not solve your problem, contact Support.
