Where should I install incremental objects?
I've downloaded the incremental objects for Max 5.1.4 from:
https://cycling74.com/downloads/incremental/
Unfortunately neither that page, nor any other page I can find on the C'74 site seems to suggest where the .mxo files should be put on Mac OS X.
I've found such files in various folders under /Applications/Max5/Cycling '74 but I've no idea if I am meant to overwrite the existing files with the new ones, or put them somewhere else.
Can anyone confirm what you're supposed to do with them?

overwrite the existing files(or keep a backup of the older ones somewhere outside max's search path).
place max externals in Max5/Cycling '74/max-externals
place msp externals(example, rand~, sampstoms~) in Max5/Cycling '74/msp-externals
place jitter externals in Max5/Cycling '74/jitter-externals
but you probably don't need any of that since the 5.1.5 update recently posted probably takes care of all that:
