 is a live performance that merges sound and image through real-time composition, where electronic music becomes an act of continuous generation. The system does not operate autonomously: it is based on a set of precise rules, combining written elements, determined variations, and generative processes incorporating degrees of randomness. It follows no linear script, but unfolds through a modular and combinatorial logic, where each execution actualizes a unique configuration of the system.

Each component of the performance — rhythmic sequences, sound textures, light pulses, visual projections — evolves according to its own temporal logic. These elements are not mechanically synchronized, but interweave within a dynamic of unstable balance, where the slightest variation — even minimal — can shift the perception of the whole: the flow, the structure, the space.

 does not aim to simulate any human expressiveness, but rather to create tension between determined structures and unpredictable behaviors. Patterns emerge, transform, vanish, sometimes return altered — as if the system were oscillating between memory and forgetting, rigor and entropy. This generalized pulsation, shared across media, becomes a form of non-verbal language, in which the oscillation itself conveys meaning.

The visual projection interacts with the sound through a logic of structural interplay. Built upon the same principles — fragmentation, repetition, modulation, drift — it generates a luminous language made of minimal images, abrupt flashes, unstable figures, or shifting geometries. Sequences of extreme stroboscopy may be followed by visual silences, suspending perception and creating ruptures or breathing spaces.

The performance offers an extended sensory experience, placing the audience at the heart of a system in constant transformation. Far from narrative or linear dramaturgy, super.system explores states of active focus, between tension and release, between control and disorientation, where harmony — when it arises — always feels contingent.

Neither a traditional concert nor an immersive installation, 

 inhabits an in-between space: a living work, performed in real time, traversed by forces that organize, confront, and dissolve. Each moment arises from a fragile balance between intention, structure, and the unpredictable — between programming and behavior.

Celestine is a real-time, celestial granular Max for Live instrument for Ableton Live - a granular processor, a granular delay, and a generative texture engine all at once.

Instead of loading samples, Celestine hosts a constantly rolling buffer that’s always listening, always replenishing itself, always reacting to what you play in the moment. It explodes incoming sound into swarms of micro-grains - pitched, reversed, widened, scattered, and animated with musical intelligence - making it equally inspiring for live performance, studio sound design, improvisation, and discovering happy accidents while you twist knobs. Celestine doesn’t store audio for later… it’s about the fleeting moment. The present. The now.

The device was inspired by boutique guitar pedals - that feeling of immediate sonic gratification. While many granular devices feel clinical or static, Celestine feels organic and alive. It behaves like something with a personality, always hungry for new audio, always reshaping what you feed it. I kept asking myself: “What would Chase Bliss do?” - and I built toward that ethos of tactile discovery and musical unpredictability.

Choose from eight unique granular modes that shape grains into wildly different behaviors:

• Mosaic – pitch-shifted harmonic clusters

• Constellate – rhythmic anchor patterns

Scrub through time or let Celestine follow the beat with bar-locked grain triggering. From shimmering pads to glitching rhythms, from delicate halos to chaotic scatter, Celestine was built to be expressive, musical, effortless, and completely click-free.

Rounding out the device is a hearty FX section featuring:

• wave-folding distortion for rich harmonics

• a bitcrusher that ranges from subtle grit to digital devastation

• the Magic multi-FX panel - seven artisanal tone-shaping algorithms that transform sound with a single knob

The device shines on melodic material - vocals, guitars, synths, pianos - but it can also turn percussion into sparkling glitches, rhythmic fragments, or shimmering ambience. Use it as an insert with dry/wet blending, or run it as a send to scatter fragments of your mix into space.
