Odd Runaway Pattstorage Midi CC behaviour
This is app I made I have been using for ages and was making some " improvement" tweaks but in the last few days it has started behaving as follows. Can't put my finger on what is causing this. Max 7, 8 and 9 Description: Before loading a set of presets, the cc knob scrolls only whilst turning the knob. As soon as you load any preset the cc values go runnaway even after releasing the knob having turned it.
Has anybody seen anything similar to this?
It is happening from the ctlin object which reads the MIDI controller
MIDI cc device: any (NanoKontrol used here). No other MIDI devices are attached
Osx Venutura, Monterey, High Sierra tested
Max 7, 8 (demo)
Hard to say with just the video and your description.
What if you make a backup of the patch, then delete parts one by one, starting by the ones that seems the most irrelevant to your problem, and stop once the problem vanishes? The last thing you removed is the culprit then.
Or if you still can't find the issue, post here the most stripped down version you can get while still having the behavior you want fix.
